Bridal Booking Policies
To secure your wedding date a signed bridal contract and £100.00 booking fee is required.
The booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and will be put towards the total of your wedding day service. The remaining balance will be due 8 weeks before the day of the event. Accepted forms of payment include bank transfer
(NOTE: bridal trials and booking fees are two separate costs.)
There is a minimum booking of Bride + 2 on all Friday to Sunday bookings.
By proceeding to book by way of paying the booking fee, you accept that you are entering into a contract for services with Maria Lucas Bridal Hair & Makeup. You agree to be bound by the terms & conditions as outlined below.
A non-refundable booking fee of £100.00 is required to secure your wedding date, by bank transfer. This is a non-refundable booking fee that secures your wedding date & is non-transferable
Please note that until this booking fee is paid your date may be discussed with other interested parties. The booking fee secures your wedding date with me & will be deducted from your final balance. The final balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to the wedding date by bank transfer.
Please note that all weddings require a minimum booking of bride plus 2 Hair & Makeup
For larger bridal parties where an assistant is considered necessary, there will be an additional charge of £65.00.
Hair & Makeup Trials
Trials will be held at a home in Bristol, Monday to Friday.
Appointment times: 10 am or 1 pm.
Combined hair & makeup trials are allocated 2.5. Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate weekend trials as I will be attending a wedding. The Trial is an opportunity for us to discuss any ideas that you have for your desired look. This is where we discuss hair & makeup options that you are comfortable with. I will listen to your needs & I will offer advice on how to achieve the perfect look for you. All details of products & techniques will be recorded & photos of the completed look. Some Products can be purchased or ordered at the trial
If you require hair extensions you will need to have them for the trial, there will be an additional charge of £25 to fit.
Trials are a separate payment to your wedding day & require payment in cash at the trial.
Travel
Travel within 5 miles of my home BS32 8AU is completely free of charge. A mileage fee (£50p per mile) will be charged thereafter.
Where Tolls & Parking charges may be incurred, the amount will be added to your final bill & will be due on the day of the event.
If you wish to move venue a fees of £35 will be added to your final balance.
Cancellations
On completing the booking form you have committed that payment is to be made for all persons mentioned on the booking.
Should you wish to reduce your numbers the original quoted price will still be payable.
Changes to your booking by adding another person to your original booking can only be accepted if the time/resources allow on your wedding day. This will require prior notice.
Unforeseen Events
In the unlikely event that the wedding can no longer take place because of Force Majeure, the wedding would be postponed to a date that we are both available. A £25 admin fee will be added to the final balance.
Please note that if your wedding date is moved to a different year a price increase will be added to your booking.
If you decide to cancel your wedding because of wedding restrictions ie: Numbers changes venue etc. My normal terms and conditions would still stand as this would be classed as a normal cancellation.
In the unlikely event that I cannot attend the date of your wedding due to unforeseen or unfortunate events/circumstances, I will try to provide you with an alternative stylist from my team.
